To stand up a new wordpress site

Go to the the main server page of IIS in the lowest section (managment) click on Web Platform Installer
Click on the 'applications' tab
'Add' workpress - then click install
In the drop downs
- Choose 'New Web Site'
- Leave the Wordpress Application Name as
- Use the URL as the web site name
- Enter a physical path name
- leave IP address
- Enter URL as Host name
- Ignore the Overwrite message
- Leave the configure page blank
- Ignore the database info
- pick the language in the next screen and you should get the wordpress admin screen
